Global Administrator

Global Administrator accounts are for managed service providers or large organizations looking to create more granular administration of a security awareness program. Infosec IQ offers optional features to centralize management of sub-accounts which are all linked to a single global account.

Global Admin Dashboard

The global administrator dashboard provides a central place to manage sub-accounts, learner seats, and view information about recent activity. You can also manage other admin users as well as API keys for all sub-accounts.

Create a new account

  1. To create a new sub-account click the New Account button on the top of the page.
  2. Enter the name of the new account.
  3. Enter in the number of learner seats to allocate to the new account.
  4. Click Add Account.

Access an account

To access one of the accounts listed on the dashboard click the arrow icon and it will take you into the specific account. To return back to the global admin dashboard click the globe button in the lower-right corner of the page.

Manage Learner Seats

Click the pencil icon on an account to adjust the number of seats assigned. The total number of available seats will be shown in the title bar of the dashboard. If you need to add seats please contact your client success manager.

Manage Global Administrators

Global administrators can be managed by clicking Administrators at the top of the page. From here new administrators can be added and existing administrators can be removed. To add a new admin click the New Administrator button and provide their email address. The user will receive an email invitation to set a password and complete the registration. To remove an administrator hover over their name in the list and click the trashcan icon that appears within the row.

API Key Management

Click on API Keys to manage API keys across all sub-accounts.

  1. A list of all sub-accounts along with seats allocated and used. You can also see each account’s API key as well as the date created and last used. Note that if an account has multiple API keys you will see the account listed more than once.
  2. Click Generate New Key to generate an API key for any sub-account without navigating into that account.
  3. Click the download button to generate a csv file of the information on this page. This is also useful as a way to export account names and seat usage even when API keys aren’t being used.
  4. Click the delete button to delete an existing API key.
